We’re excited to announce that we are working with the wonderful team at Baker Street Quarter Partnership again to produce not one, but two Summer in the Square events. Last year’s event won the NOEA Regional Event of the Year award and we’re looking forward to this year being even better.
Hosted in the magnificent Portman Square, Marylebone, the first event – taking place from 9th to 14th July – brings the very best of Wimbledon Finals week to the big screen. The second event runs 7th to 11th August featuring action from the last week of the Paris Olympics.
Alongside big screen sports, the events will feature a street food line-up, a bar run by members club Home House, seating area and family activities. In addition, the Guest Kitchen programme is returning to the Square for both events, with some of Marylebone’s most exciting restaurants trading with partners including Nobu Hotel, Trishna and The Zetter. In July the Wellness Den sees a full programme of workshops for the mind and body.
We asked our Co-Founder and Director Megan Anstee to tell us more about what celebrating the Summer of Sport in Portman Square means to her:
"We are thrilled to be back working with Baker Street Quarter Partnership to celebrate the Summer of Sport in a truly iconic location. With fantastic activities, street food, and some of Marylebone’s most amazing food and drink on offer, we’re excited to play a part in making Portman Square one of London’s best spots for Wimbledon and the Olympics. See you there!”
We work with BIDs, developers, estates and operators to amplify possibilities in places through events.
