How we launched TikTok’s first ever Food Festival
The content team at TikTok had partnered with BuzzFeed to produce their first ever TikTok #FoodFest LIVE, an online collaboration with some of the most prevalent chefs and influencers in the market. With several distinguished TikTok influencers lined up to deliver content, they needed an events agency to oversee and manage the project across all areas, including creative development, operations and stakeholder management in addition to delivering the LIVE virtual experience. From brief to delivery, we had four weeks to live date.
We implemented a clear project management plan and started onboarding expert suppliers, including production team and food stylists, liaising with talent and event partners.
We coordinated all aspects of the production.
TikTok #FoodFest LIVE was a celebration of all things food on TikTok, creating a “hub” in-app, accessible to all TikTok members.
The LIVE schedule featured five segments and collaborations. From TikTok star Bash the Entertainer, to Bake Off star Crystelle Pereira, finshing with culinary icon Ainsley Harriot all live streamed from BuzzFeed HQ.
The LIVE attracted new audiences to culinary content on TikTok and increased followers of those featured.
